What happens
The episode opens on the Season 6 taglines. Angie’s is a pun about being Greek while everyone else is a tragedy (Reality Tea). Lisa, apparently past the party blow-up, is fussing over table angles at her Vida Tequila lounge ahead of a visit from Steve Carell and Jason Schwartzman. In a flashback to a meeting with Amy Steele, she lays out her plan for the week. The women she favors will go skeet shooting with her first, and everyone else, Bronwyn included, can join for lunch. When Amy calls that generous, Lisa laughs and hints that the lunch has a surprise in store. She’s tired of being the target, she says.
Bronwyn has lunch with her husband, Todd. She thanks him for paying for her parents’ care. Her mother is recovering from surgery and staying with them, and her father has moved into a care facility as his Alzheimer’s has worsened. Todd looks like he’d rather be anywhere but on camera. He only livens up when Bronwyn says she wants to make things right with Lisa. When she admits she just wants people to like her, he tells her bluntly that a lot of them don’t, and calls what she did unforgivable.
Angie visits her father, Louie, who’s 89. Over Greek coffee he shows her old photos and describes German soldiers burning homes in his village when he was a child, before his family left for America with almost nothing. Angie says the stories put her own life in perspective, and that she wants to pass that pride on to her daughter.
Bronwyn’s afternoon with her mother goes worse. Her mother talks about how hard it is to sort through her husband’s belongings. Bronwyn sympathizes, until she mentions how long it took to build her own life and her mother credits Todd for it instead. In a confessional, Bronwyn says it isn’t the first cutting remark, and that she still wants her mother’s approval while wishing she didn’t.
Heather is already turning one of her kids’ rooms into what she calls a love den, partly so she has somewhere other than her bed to write. She and Angie compare notes on Lisa. Heather says Lisa is either in financial trouble, living a lie or under attack because of the lawsuits. Angie says she has compassion for Lisa but is worn out by the bragging, and just wants the truth.
Skeet shooting at Blue Sky goes ahead with Lisa’s chosen group: Heather, Mary, Meredith and Amy. Lisa calls them her A Team and labels the lunch guests the D Team. Lunch is in a conference room lined with enormous poster boards of her lawsuit documents, each stamped with the word dismissed, alongside giant photos of Lisa and John on a yacht. Mary says in her confessional that she’s confused and plans to stay that way. When Whitney asks what the boards are meant to clarify, Lisa shouts: “Dismissed, dismissed, dismissed!”
The questions come quickly. Angie asks about the mystery man rumored to pay for Lisa’s things, and Lisa denies all of it. In a confessional, Bronwyn says one case is still open, with Lisa and her lawyer only denying the claims. Lisa then stands and makes her case: yes, she’s been sued, and she’ll probably be sued again, but anyone can sue for anything. When Angie pushes back, Lisa calls her a Jen Shah wannabe and mocks her as a brow, lash and nail girl.
Whitney points out that the women were tagged in these stories, so what were they supposed to think? Meredith counters that plenty of allegations circulate about Whitney too, and that doesn’t make them true. The group turns on Meredith for siding with Lisa. Lisa then rounds on Whitney over her business. Per Wikipedia’s synopsis, Lisa calls her a “redhead” and Whitney throws her napkin at Lisa. It ends in a screaming match, Whitney walks out, and the scene is left to be continued.
How it originated
Lisa’s poster boards answer the conversation Bronwyn started on the RV trip Lisa skipped and pushed further at Amy Steele’s party. The suits are public record. In June 2024, homebuilder Bart Carlson and Yukon Construction sued Lisa and two of her companies over $410,842.36 in alleged unrepaid loans, which she denied. In August 2024, William McGeary sued over a $400,000 loan to Vida Tequila. Later in 2024, a judge reportedly declined to dismiss the Carlson case. That squares with Bronwyn’s claim that at least one case remained open, but the status of every case as of 30 September 2025 could not be confirmed for this article. Lisa’s poster boards are her presentation, and the episode doesn’t show the documents in enough detail to check them.
The Jen Shah insult has history too. Shah pleaded guilty in July 2022 to conspiracy to commit wire fraud in a telemarketing scheme and began a 78-month sentence in Bryan, Texas, in February 2023. Angie compared Lisa to Shah on the trip. Here, Lisa turns the comparison back on her.
The human interaction (Analysis)
Lisa staged a press conference and called it lunch. That’s revealing. A clarity lunch implies a conversation, but the room was built so nobody could have one. There were exhibits, a seating hierarchy and a host who’d announced in advance that the day was about her. Sorting the women into an A Team and a D Team before they even sat down told the D Team what the verdict was going to be.
It backfired because the boards answered a question nobody was quite asking. Angie and Whitney’s real complaint isn’t whether the suits are legally alive. It’s whether Lisa’s account of her own life is honest. A stamp on a poster can’t settle that, so the women heard a performance rather than an answer.
Meredith’s position is the quiet shift. She’s the one who argues that rumors aren’t proof, a principle that cuts in Lisa’s favor today. The group punishes her for it immediately, which shows how quickly principle gets read as alliance here.
Bronwyn’s home scenes give the hour its only real ballast. A husband who tells her people don’t like her, and a mother who credits him for her life, give some context for why she might want to win so badly in the group.
What people made of it
EpisodeHive’s season mirror lists the episode at 8.6/10 from 56 votes as of 18 October 2026. Wikipedia’s episode table gives 0.37 million U.S. viewers, down from the previous week’s 0.49 million.
Niki Leydecker at Reality Tea framed the lunch as a clarity event that produced only confusion, and closed by asking readers whether it cleared anything up. Vulture’s Tom Smyth recapped it under the headline “Poster Girl,” but the text could not be retrieved, so his verdict is not characterized here. The episode’s Reddit threads, Primetimer’s forum and comments on Bravo’s official clips also could not be retrieved, so this piece reports no fan reaction beyond the figures above.
