Nonprofit information

Evolving Humanities is being developed as a nonprofit media and cultural initiative.

Purpose, independence, and transparency

Building a publication around people.

Evolving Humanities is an independent media and cultural initiative with a nonprofit mission: to deepen public understanding through reporting, cultural exploration, and human stories.

We examine how people, communities, institutions, and ideas are changing. Our work makes space for both researched analysis and lived experience, inviting readers and contributors from all backgrounds to share perspectives that help others understand the world more fully.

We are working toward a formally established nonprofit structure. This page explains where we are today and how support is currently managed.

What our nonprofit mission means

Our purpose is to serve readers and create opportunities for meaningful public conversation. Support is intended to help develop independent reporting, cultural coverage, contributor storytelling, and the practical infrastructure that keeps this work available.

We welcome people who want to tell their own stories as well as writers, researchers, artists, and community contributors. Submissions are reviewed according to our editorial standards, with respect for the people whose lives and experiences are represented.

A nonprofit mission describes the purpose of the initiative. Our formal legal structure and any applicable charitable recognition will be published once established and verified.

How support is currently managed

During this development stage, donations for Evolving Humanities are managed by our parent company, Remote and Holding, established in Estonia through the e-Residency programme.

Establishing Evolving Humanities’ nonprofit structure is a separate process. Information about Estonia’s e-Residency programme is available from the programme’s official website.

Our donation page explains what support is intended to make possible. Please request confirmed payment instructions before transferring funds; banking placeholders are not payment details. We do not currently represent contributions as tax-deductible.

Our commitment to editorial independence

  • Support does not buy influence. A contribution does not purchase coverage, determine editorial conclusions, or guarantee publication.
  • Stories are considered on their merits. Relevance, accuracy, context, and responsible treatment of the people involved guide editorial decisions.
  • Personal perspectives deserve care. Consent, privacy, and dignity matter when people share experiences or appear in our coverage.
  • Questions and corrections are welcome. Readers can use our Contact page and corrections process to raise concerns.

Read our editorial standards for more about our approach.

Information we will make available

As our nonprofit structure is formalized, we will update this page with verified organizational information, including:

  • The registered name, legal form, jurisdiction, and registration details.
  • Governance arrangements and who is responsible for the initiative.
  • How financial support is managed and how relevant financial information is shared.
  • Any applicable charitable or tax status, stated only when confirmed.

We will keep this information current as the organization develops.
