What happens

The season’s horror styling heads to sea: the cold open shows open water, circling sharks and Chief Stew Daisy Kelliher radioing Captain Jason Chambers about someone overboard, with a stuffed unicorn in the frame — and the episode doesn’t explain any of it. The trip itself starts at the airport, and Bronwyn isn’t there; Whitney says in a confessional that she isn’t surprised, given the headlines. In Canouan, Jason and his crew welcome the women aboard the superyacht. Angie warns the crew they’ll never have worked harder for their money, and in the galley Chef Ben Robinson jokes to sous chef Alesia Harris that the tip had better reflect it. Britani, on her 30-day break from Jared, announces she’s claiming the captain; Whitney threatens to soak her if she so much as says Jared’s name; Britani immediately chants it, and Meredith empties a water pitcher over her.

Bronwyn arrives late and finds she’s sharing a cabin with Britani, whose stuffed unicorn plays a goodnight message from Jared. Britani raises the fraud reports right away. Bronwyn denies them and says she believes someone in the group pushed them out. In a confessional, she admits she once missed a rent payment; she says a later case was sealed, and that the only thing now visible is the penal code section it referenced, which happens to cover identity theft, grand theft and fraud. At lunch she tells everyone there are no charges against her, no mugshot and no police record. That is her on-camera account; the episode shows no documents either way. When Bronwyn says she thinks someone in the group brought it to light, Lisa starts denying things before anyone has named her — Heather jokes in a confessional that Lisa is giving herself away. Bronwyn won’t say Lisa’s name, only that the story surfaced while they were on bad terms. Lisa demands to know who fed stories about her to the blogs and the Salt Lake Tribune, and says she won’t be the scapegoat again.

Water toys follow. Britani bristles at seeing Heather on a Seabob with Jason, and Heather casually claims the two have a romantic history; Jason doesn’t respond on camera. A guest drifts off and deckhand Eddy fetches her back, while Angie is too seasick to enjoy any of it. Bronwyn tells Whitney she believes Lisa was behind both the Alibaba rumor about Whitney’s jewelry last season and her own headlines, and claims Lisa called her “Conwyn” before the reports came out. Whitney takes this to Heather, who agrees; Heather describes Lisa as smarter and darker than anyone realizes, someone who looks things up and keeps score. Heather sends for Meredith, expecting the final vote — she doesn’t get it. Meredith says it would be wrong if Lisa had done it, but there’s no proof; in a confessional, she adds that “correlation does not equal causation,” and notes that nobody seems curious about what Bronwyn actually did.

Angie stays in her cabin with Mary, still seasick. At a dinner Angie misses, Britani claims she’s the only one who keeps it real, and Bronwyn decides to prove otherwise: she says Britani, on a shopping trip, told her Meredith has seizures whenever Bronwyn is around. Meredith erupts — per Wikipedia’s synopsis, she insists that both she and her son, Brooks, genuinely have seizures — and throws her water at Britani. Britani throws hers back, and it lands on Bronwyn. Once that settles, Heather asks what else people at the table need to own, and looks at Lisa. Meredith turns the question back on Heather and Whitney for their earlier conversation, leaving Heather exposed. Heather tells Lisa outright that she thinks Lisa is the source of the dirt; Meredith adds that things do seem to leak whenever Lisa is upset. Lisa denies it, saying she won’t admit to something she didn’t do. Meredith accepts the denial, but the others don’t. Heather and Lisa trade obscenities; Lisa announces she can’t be friends with Heather any more and leaves, upset, to call John. Heather retreats to Angie and Mary’s cabin, where Mary says real friends tell each other when they’re wrong, and Angie declares it game over for Lisa.

How it originated

The crossover was public from April 2025, when Bravo confirmed that RHOSLC would share a charter with Below Deck Down Under; Bravo said the trip would also feature in BDDU’s fourth season, a first for both franchises. Heather is the host this time. The leak accusation lands now because of last week’s episode: Angie raised the reports about Bronwyn, Bronwyn told Todd she suspected Lisa, and Heather called Lisa a risky friend while asking Meredith to believe Angie. The Alibaba thread goes back to Season 5, when a rumor circulated that Whitney’s jewelry line came from Alibaba and Whitney traced it to Lisa; in this episode, Bronwyn connects the two incidents. Nobody shows evidence linking Lisa to either.

The human interaction (Analysis)

Heather spent the episode building a coalition, and the one vote she needed went the other way. She had Angie, Whitney and Bronwyn; she brought in Meredith as the closer, and Meredith wouldn’t sign on. Her objection is the only one in the episode that actually concerns evidence: everyone else is reasoning from a pattern, and Meredith is the only one who says out loud that a pattern isn’t proof. Bronwyn’s dinner move tells you how she’s playing it: reporting Britani’s shopping-trip gossip did two things at once — it undercut Britani’s claim to be the honest one, and it turned Meredith’s anger away from the question of Bronwyn’s own headlines. Whatever Bronwyn intended, that’s what happened.

Lisa’s defense did her no favors: denying before being accused, then demanding to know who fed stories about her, made her look as if she knew where the conversation was heading. It doesn’t prove anything; it just made Heather’s job easier. And Britani is still the friend who carries messages and pays for it, this time by getting drenched twice before dessert.

What people made of it

EpisodeHive’s season mirror — which lists the episode as “Above Neck and Below the Belt,” a variant TheTVDB also uses, while Wikipedia and Bravo use “Above Deck” — gives it 9.3/10 from 69 votes as of 18 October 2026, tying the wine-tasting episode for the highest score so far. Wikipedia’s episode table gives 0.43 million U.S. viewers.

Niki Leydecker at Reality Tea framed the hour as Heather leading a mutiny against Lisa without any proof, reveled in the camp, and asked readers whether the Heather–Lisa friendship was over. Vulture’s Tom Smyth recapped the episode under the headline “Rock the Boat,” but the text of that recap could not be retrieved for this article. The episode’s Reddit threads, Primetimer’s forum and comments on Bravo’s official clips likewise could not be retrieved and verified, so no fan reaction beyond the figures and recap above is reported.
